Does anyone ever have dreams that really happen later on? I have done this since childhood. I have heard that it is a Indian trait but I am not sure. I do it my momther does it and my grandmother and also my sister. Sort of like the show the medium in a way but I have never dreamed about murders or anything like that though.

Yes I have dreamed about things that I have later have happened or ones that I have found out were about things that were happening right then but I didn't know it. It can be a bit freeky at times. I don't know if it's an indian trait or not since I'm Irish and it happens to me a lot. At first it was strange but now I just accept it as it is. It can sometimes be hard though when you have a dream that is so real like to know which is the difference. Which ones will turn out to be real and which ones are just wishes we hope would come real.

I do know what you mean on that. There are many of mine I hope won't either. Although there are others I'd like to see come true :)

Yes, I had a dream my mom was driving on the sidewalk on the wrong side of the street. The next day she was on a medication and she started driving on the wrong side of the street!
Also, my mom has had thoughts or premonitions. When she was a child she had a premonition of her white cat walking across the street and getting run over, moments later it happened as she watched out the window.
I also have had times when I have won things or needed something and I win it or get what I need. The best thing I won, after having that feeling was a trip to Hawaii! Another time I really needed a vavuum cleaner, but didn't want to fork over the bucks for it. I recieved a brand new vacuum as a gift.
When I was in therapy, dreams helped me to bring my feelings to the surface and deal with them with the help of my counselor.
I believe the subconscious is a very powerful thing. I think it can move us forward or hold us back.

Yes, I have had many dreams that have ended up happening in reality. I do tend to dream of apocolyptic items too. I certainly hope I do not live to see any of those kinds of dreams really happen.

Yes I have had dreams that have come true. A couple of times I have dreamed that my husband got bit by a snake. The first time I had the dream I told him the next day about it and I even told him where the snake would be. He didn't believe me until he went outside and a copperhead was laying right where I told him it would be. The last couple of years though my "Day" dreams have been coming true. And I know that if my chest starts hurting than my husbands dad is having trouble with his heart. It's just weird stuff like that all the time. I think I'm "strange" or something. Wish I knew for sure.

I dreamt I was on a cruise ship having fun blah blah... then 2-3 years later I finally got the opportunity to go on my first ever cruise trip and when I got on it, I know where everything is. Its like I've been there many a times. My aunt was baffled and thought I had memorized the map or something. It didn't freaked me out cos it kinda made me feel good... like a dream come true.

When I dream, I dream awake and those are the dreams that happen to me. But a dream while asleep is something I can not recall, if ever there are things that I remember they are those that are easily forgoten also. If this happends to you perhaps you have a practice that i do not do. some people have this kind, a sort of a psychic thing.

Not that they really happen but I had a couple of dreams that had meanings. Before I got my first real job after my voluntary work I prayed that God will give me the sign. I had never met my future employer but one night I dreamed that I talked to her and that she had a short hair. True enough she accepted me in her school and she's got a short hair.
At another time here in Thailand, I resigned from my school. But things didn't work out well for me so I talked to the owner of the school and said that I want to go back. He told me to wait. A week later, it was Sunday, I dreamed that I removed the shower. Then the principal of the school came to me and told me that it's okay and I could put the shower back. When I woke up I felt strange and that my dream had a significance. A couple of hours later I got a call from the principal in my dream and she asked me to report back.

this is dejavu, i think. there are some of my dreams which really happens over time. it has not been a major dream but more often, it is a part of a dream only.
i don't usually remember my dreams when i wake up but when this dream is already being put to action, i can remember it already. i often tell the people i am with that "i've dreamt of this before".

Yes I have had dreams coming true but it is very, very few.
Once I began interested in this topic and I went to a bookstore to check out some books on this subject. I managed to find a few and finally I settle for this book on “The power of the sub-conscious mind”
Briefly, the author Dr. Murphy, say the sub-conscious mind is three hundred times more powerful then the conscious mind. He says that by working on the sub-conscious mind we will be able to get things done, he says that by using the sub-conscious mind we can overcome certain body sickness.

I don't have these kinds of dreams and to tell the truth I am quite grateful as I wouldn't want to know in advance if something negative would happen. However my mother has these kind of dreams, my grandmother also has them and even my grand-grandmother used to have them when she was alive. So I definitely believe in this possibility :) However I am not aware of having any connection with Indians. But who knows, maybe centuries ago... :P

There was thie few weeks i had an experiment, actually iread this from a book at the library.
Ancient people wrote and recorded their dreams right after they woke up so they'd know if the dream came true..
I tried that for 3 weeks but not a single one came true... :)

I don't usually remember my dream and in those rare occasions that I remember them it's usually something about some other matters. However I have experiencing wishing or thinking of something happening and it actually happened right before my eyes.

Yes my dreams come true sometimes. I get such dreams where I go to some places which I never visited. But later I go to those places which I see in my dreams. It has happened to me so many times. Also I have got many cautions in my dream and later that happened with me.

Not dreams, but what I think of.. usually, almost everything that I think of happens.. for example, I remembered a person of whom I haven't gotten in touch with for years, the suddenly.. I will receive an email or a letter from that person. freaky, I know.. but I don't believe I have some sort of powers, hehe.. coz' i'm not all-knowing. I just find it weird, though. But I believe God gave me the gift of discernment.. well, maybe.
