indifference of indians ..

Hi friends, as we march ahead materialistically, we fail to notice anything except our target.We are not certainly the same folk that lived here on this fantastic land say a 100 yrs or so. We dont come to the streets to stage protests for reasons affecting the country's interest or for someone else problems, unless it is staged by a political party or unless we are directly affected by it. We forget very easily the sufferings of other people as we struggle to acquire wealth and refuse to acknowledge other finer aspects of life. there may be exceptions but just exceptions alone can not be the way of life. Even during this information revolution period we remain dormant, neither proactive nor reactive. Pretty bad indeed...Any other opinion out there..
