I just responded to a discussion and when I submitted my response, to my dismay, there is spam attached to the bottom of my comment. It is for ebay and I don;t like that it has attached itself to my name like that.
Is there a way to have it removed? Why has this happened?

One of Mylot's new upgrades. Not sure if we can remove it but maybe if many of us complain about it, they might get rid of them. I hate them too!

If its a part of mylot's upgrade and not some sort of a virus then I think its fine since it can help mylot to pay us more. I hope that is there aim in adding that feature.

I don't think you'll be accused of spamming on here, especially after people see how often it's showing up under the posts... most people have probably had it turn up under there posts too and if they haven't will soon. But if they give you any trouble, just send them my way and I'll straighten them out for you ;)

It is on everyones response at some time. It came after the most recent myLot upgrade. Afraid you'll just have to get used to it.

I have just come onto MyLot this morning and seen them - and I absolutely hate them too! Makes this site look cheap and tacky. In fact I don't like the new upgrade at all - I don't understand how to change my profile or anything anymore, and this is the first month since I joined MyLot that I can see my money going down as I write this.

Strange that it will happened to you, loves. Normally, a spammer will mess our threads intentionally. But in your case, I think someone is playing a game with your response. You can report this mylot by pressing the ! button. Mylot will delete it for you. :)

Well, there is a saying in my family...if it's going to happen it's going to happen to Reese (that is me lol)
now that it has been explained, I am ok with it, just don't want to seem like a spammer myself

Well, if they're going to be using this to advirtise even more on myLot, i think they should start paying us more! Fancy advirtising under my posts without even asking and all. I think it's annoying, and distracts from reading the discussions.

I presume it is submitted by another person? Then it would be clear to all who read that it was sent by him and not you. But if you really don't want the spam to be in the same line as your comment, just use the "!" to report the post. If and when myLot gets to it, I guess it will be removed.
