everybody go crazy over slipper

I've noticed that everywhere lately. Like people got to have a hundred different pairs of flip flops and they wear them everywhere. I even see it in winter. Really I can't stand walking about in them unless its on a beach.

yeah HAVIANAS are so expensive and yet people love it.. i love flip flops and i dont wear expensive ones.. why? it will just simply fade away, i mean trend will just come and go.. so better yet buy inexpensive ones.. as long as it will make you comfortable.. :) for me, the brand doesnt matter as long as its nice and it looks good on you.. for a pair of HAVIANAS you can buy what like 4 pairs of other brands of flip flops :)

Sounds like you need to make your own flipflop designs better than Havaianas and sell them at the beach. LOL If you don't like them hon, don't wear them. People are crazy somtimes and follow fads like right away to be in. Make your own comfy saddle and wear them and be diffrent. When I was a kid flipflops were for wearing to the pool to get in and out without burning feet on concrete. Also to wear at the YMCA shower to prevent picking up athletes foot. I would never wear to a church.

i love slippers. i have my own havis back when the days where mmost people havent heard of the brand. now everywhere you see people of all ages wearing one. and so i stopped buying those, and treasuring my only pair, that for me i consider a vintage. its fine that people follow a trend but what irritates me is that they go gaga over the brand-- havaianas. even if there are others that have nicer designs and are sturdy as well. yesterday, my mom checked on a new pair of shoes at rustan's and i was surprised to see that even if there are other slipper stalls, havaianas is the only one who is being flocked. and my oh my, they're like freaking out with the newestr designs they see. thinking that they are a collector or some sort, but nope-- it shows on the slippers that they wore. i think they;re following the fad to be in. catching up with the havaianas trend before it goes out the market. at least they have one before the last pair is bought.
