Your best childhood memories

Hi there, my attention was indeed caught by your subject. BEST childhood memory? I've got lots of it. But maybe the best among the rest, cliche as it may seem t'was with my childhood sweetheart! Falling in love?infatuation or platonic love, whatever they call that wonderful feeling, yes I've been to it! I met him when I was 6, now I'm 18. And yes, I must say i do fell in love with him! We used to play this thing we called "bahay-bahayan" in filipino, he's the father and i played the role of a mother. He would invite me at his grand parent's home where he stays for a while during vacation to have some lunch or dinner perhaps. Then by the afternoon during sunset we would play some games together with our neighbor kids. At night, when its not that late we would stay on their veranda and enjoyed a romantic night while stargazing, dreaming of big and impossible stuffs! Once in a while we find ourselves exchanging vows and promises, when we grow up and reach the right age, he would ask me to marry him and so we could be together forever. While I was growing up I bear with me the promise we both made, but out of no where, we lose out of sight of each other. For years i heard only nothing about him, but i was very optimistic and still holding on to the vow we've made. however, today all i have are the wonderful memories we had together. memories that i will forever keep with me and reminisce until i found the man whom i shall bring my fantasy into reality.
