I do!!! My heart jump with excitement the moment the LBC carrier knocks on our gate and gave me a small package that came from a MYLOT Friend! Yes my dear mylot friends, someone send me a ANGEL FIGURINE fresh from davao with a artistic birthday card and a very touchy dedication. We never knew each other in person only here on mylot but she asked my address on private message but I never expected a gift right away lol!!Thanks Maryannemax one of the pioneer here on mylot with more than 6,000 posts, a filipina pharmacist who speak well of her mind, very thoughtful friend and soon to be a loving wife with her handsome prince charming.
I am looking forward to welcome her on my house whenever she will visits manila.
I was very thankful to have my group of friends here on mylot specially my online angels.. Thank you for being such wonderful friends to me and you make mylot a better forum to be with.

gosh gosh! thanks so much for the appreciation. hehe. i haven't thought that you'll start a discussion about the gift and card i've sent you. but surely, thanks for appreciating everything.
actually, i'm a bit hesitant to ask for addresses since not all people can be trusted and that most people hesitate to give out addresses, too. it's part of their privacy. i just actually tried if you'd give me since i really want to reach out more to you not just through emails and mylot.
sometimes, in this world of too much technology, we forget to reach out personally to people. we no longer use couriers and ordinary postal services. and actually, it really feels great to atleast send such small gifts to friends and let them know they truly mean a lot.
you take care and as i always say, our friendship has just started.

Here is the sweet girl that send me the angel gift which I really treasure a lot!!! Indeed it is only the beginning of a lasting friendship. I am a bit excited to see you in flesh and tour you around here at rizal lol!!! I will bring you to exotic restaurant in angono the famous balaw-balaw serving exotic foods lol!!! How about eating fried itik and most of all share a cup of coffe at our terrace which is overlooking laguna de bay and metro manila?

Wow, that's an amazing gift.
I had an online friend send me a box with a mix CD and some of his favorite books to read. We had a lot of good discussions about music and our interests and understanding of it afterwards.
But the best part was all those books! It gave us a whole new foundation of understanding to see what books he liked and why. A month later, I sent him a box containing some of my favorite books and my own mix CD in response. This spurred a whole new round of discussion about the books and music.
I heartily recommend this kind of exchange, because it gives online friendships a dimension that previously only exists with people you can meet face to face.

Maryanne and me are good friends here on mylot she accepted me when I was a new member and she inspired me a lot in terms of earnings here that at first I have a doubt she testified that she recieved online payment from mylot and I really trust her words and I love her discussion that's why we became good friends.

Must be quite a beautiful moment when you opened the parcel to realise that it comes from an online friend.I am not surprised coz the warm person that you are ,it's only natural that your friends will love you back.
Although,I haven't received a 'physical' gift myself ,I have received gifts on my birthdays and other occassions from online friends and it's a feeling unmatched! :D

I have received gifts from online friends on my birthday, once I received a lovely chocolate cat from a friend in India on my birthday which was so lovely I couldn't eat it! I kept it for about 4 years but had to throw it away in the end because the chocolate went all mouldy and it looked dodgy! It was one of the sweetest (literally) gifts I had ever received and my online pal who sent it to me is still a very good pal to this day who I'm in regular contact with!

Yes My friend I have . I was on another website before this and we used to play games and chat , I made friends with quite a few of them and some even came to visit me and we are still really good friends and email each other most days , they were really lovely , One made me a beautiful ceramic Christmas Tree, It is absolutely gorgeous , We also did a secret Santa for a few years , I keep in touch and we still send Christmas and birthday cards to each other . It is a lovely feeling when someone you have never mets sends you even a very small gift from the heart xx

That was really thoughtful of her. to do that. I have also might a few people on her that I have became very good frinds with. we talk on the phone. and email each other. I was going to send this one friend some flower seeds that I had keep from last year I offered to send them to her but she never replied about it. I do nice things like that too!

She sent me 2 Dolphin Cushion Covers and a DVD that she knew I wanted and the other Friend sent me a lovely Fairy and a scented Candle
I love them and I was so surprised and happy to receive these

Wow, I think that is one of the most greatest of experiences to ever have with all the negativity in the world. Well yeah i had it several times.
They are my friends from other country and we had a chance actually to met here in my country and we had a wonderful time chatting and hanging out together.
I was being their tour guide actually, then now that they had to come back to their country, we're still having a connection by chatting and emailing then hopefully see them soon here again.
