Maybe it is ,but I have posted for several pieces after about half an hour,and it still is the same number.

it's the number of posts that we have made. this is the combination of discussions you started and responses you provided to discussions of other mylot users.
for every response we give in another's discussion, we increase it by 1 point. whenever we start a new discussion, we also get 1 point if there are responses to our discussion.
if we make sub-comments in another person's discussion, we get 1 point for that. however, if you made a sub-comment in your own discussion, it doesn't increase your number of posts.
i see you have 98 posts. 2 more posts and you will get your star rating. goodluck! happy posting. :)

when i first had my star it was an 8 and it was 84/100. i just keep on posting quality responses... relevant and useful to the discussion. the more (+) ratings we get for our responses, the higher our star ratings will be. :)

Thank you for you detailed information about mylot.But I have another question about you.Your number is 239 at the moment and your level is ten.How do you do that?I mean,you get to such a high level with less posts.

Thank to your help.I understand mylot's running now.But it is really hard for us to respond the high quality posts all the time,unless we have enough time in doing these.And I thank the people who give a positive rate to me.

You mean the number is bracket? If is your post count (though myLot confusingly calls it your rating) i.e. the number of responses you make. Observe it and you will get what I mean.
I see you are at post 98 now. 2 more posts and you will hit 100 - you will then receive a star with a number inside. From 1 to 10, 10 being the best, this would be your reputation. ;-)
