This is a list of things to maximize your ptr experience. There are strategies to this too. That's not to say that there aren't still scams or poor ones out there. There are some that I have only 11 cents after 2 weeks of emails. However there are quite a few almost at $1 and they keep sending tons of them a day to help me along.
1) Fill out the interests. Check EVERY box, if your interested or not. You don't really HAVE to read them to get credit for them, just let the link complete.
2) Beware of the interests you check. Many of these sites put some sly stuff in this section to see if you are a bot or something. It will say something like "I'm a cheater" or "Donate my money". You do not want to check these boxes... for obvious reasons, so check anything that is an actual interest including the positive stuff they slip in there like "Yes! I will search" or "I love getting emails!"
3) Read your emails throughout the day. Let them load while you are doing something else. The more you read these, the more they give you to read. Even if it is twice a day, don't worry about finishing the box before work or whatever, it won't happen, cause they don't stop sending them until about 12:30 am! Just do enough to show your interest in the job at hand, then leave the rest until you can do them all.
4)If the link takes too long to load, it will not complete, therefore you are better off moving on. I usually give it about a minute or two, I have dial up, so many things don't load or take time.
5) Attitude is everything. If you have a poor attitude, you will think of this as monotonous and boring and totally not worth the pennies (or 1/4,1/2 and 3/4 pennies they give too). I look at this as a stepping stone to greater things. I can invest this money into other sites I try and come to believe in.
6) You have to work for money. Its that simple. This is easy work that you can do without even looking. Well maybe long enough to click the link and close the window, but hey, that is worth a few pennies a day right?
That is about all I can tell you that I have learned. There are provisos though. Some ptr sites will only give you so many no matter how many times you check your email. Petmails.com is one that likes to only send one or two a day. I got rid of that one. I guess that is a tip too!
7) If you have a site that is only sending a couple of emails a day, drop it and find another to fill its shoes. I have a few I have dropped. 2 of them for loading times, the homepage is not compatible with my connection and a couple for sending only a few at a time.
Tip for those with e-mailpaysu. Don't forget to go to the site and check emails there too. They call those point mails that you can redeem for cash and they rack up much quicker than the few emails they send a day. This is one site that sends 3-4 mails a day, but I keep it for the internal mailbox mails.
Well that is all I have to share with you for today. I hope this helps you in your quest for paid to reads. I you want a list for a few good ones, you will have to wait until I get paid. Unless you are willing to risk it!
I will however leave you with this one link that sends tons of mails and DOES pay. I have proof on my myspace blog at:

This site has a low $1 payout and can be reached in about a week. Very nice for a paid email.
