High street, armchair or internet shopping? Which do you prefer?

I've tried all 3 and I enjoy them all in different ways. Shopping is always fun for me! I go to the shops when it comes to clothes and shoes because I feel that there is a need to try them on before buying. Besides nothing beats being able to feel the different textures of different materials and see the actual colours before buying. For cosmetics, CDs, books and the like I would buy them online because they are cheaper. Sometimes, I check them out at a store first before going to buy them online. Also buying online saves me the trouble from having to actually pay a visit to the shops in person. I don't need to get dressed to get my shopping done this way. I have watched those infomercials on TV but so far I haven't bought anything there yet. Somehow, I have the perception that they might have used some special tricks to make the products appear more attactive and useful than they actually are. Because, after all, special effects are commonly used in movies. Still, I sometimes enjoy watching those.

I buy a lot of my clothes and cd's and such online. I used to shop in stores for clothes so I too could try them on but since I can't walk anymore trying clothes on is too difficult so I buy from two sites where I know what sizes fit me best and order from them only. I use auction sites and a couple of cd clubs that I buy from for cd's and I buy my games from a game club online that I belong to. I buy most of the storage and trash bags at a local dollar store place. That about covers it for me.

I choose to shop at church rummage sales, flea markets, dollar stores and thrift shops. I do some online shopping and the key is how much I am willing to spend for any item. Ebay gives me great deals as long as I have patience. Also loss leader shopping for groceries is my thing really. I have a company for toiletries that I can get two for the cost and that is my kind of deal too. Avon products are mostly found at flea markets. Books I go to library book sales and also I belong to a trading site. So my money really goes far and I get a nice variety of things and times to share with family and now my friend is going with me.

We have been shopping online a lot here lately. We joined an online mall where you get cashback for your purchases so that helps to save a little. And I just went to the mall today and realized how much I hate going out shopping. There's just too many people out when I can just sit at home in my pj's and shop online.

I think I like to buy in big supermarket.because I hate buying and hate barginning with the assistant.The buying in big supermarket have many virtues.first,I can company with my girlfriend.we all are business,and have little time to stay.when we are in supermarket we can communicate with each other.and consolicate our relationship.during the buying,we can express our views and transfer our feeling.second I can try on when I buy coats.as we know ,different people have different taste.when I look a coat I can't know whether it can match me very much,and the corlor ,the size ,or the kind,after trying.third.I needn't bargin with the assistant,when I decide to buy,I get it ,and pay for it.mostly it cheaper than the small shops. so I like buying in big supermarket.

well.it may be online shopping or door delivery service...i would always prefer to go out and get things.going out and looking for the things is a new and exciting experience.so i would always prefer going out.

Same here... many a things i would prefer going in the mall or on streets and select them after looking for various options... and there is very less things that i would go for buying on the Internet...

Well it will really depend on the item that I am going to buy. Like what you've mentioned. I cannot decide to buy everything through that internet because there are some items that I have to see first before buying so that I can see if it's worth my money.

hmmmmm If I buy opnline I need shipping cost. That make more expensive that I bought offline ^^
