anniversary gifts

well, which anniversary is it? you could do the traditional gift what ever it is...but im sure you could find a website that will tell you the right gift for this year. if you dont want to do that you could do something really special. i'll explain. it was actually a hand made wedding gift to us. the woman gave me a little box that looked like a little antique treasure chest. and inside there were a bunch of little squares of paper (nice cloud paper for a printer you could get them at staples or even a walmart) that were folded up and written on each one were special little things to do for eachother. you could do this. let him choose one and thats what he does for you, then you choose one and do the same. BE CREATIVE. foot massage..yuck..lol..tell your spouse what you like about them, what you love about them. which color or outfit they look wonderful in. when your most attracted to them. why you fell in love to begin with. what was it about them that caught your eye at first, that you love his smell, you love his kiss, gentle kisses on the forehead, holding hands in public next time you go out together. give him a bath and then lotion him, there is some of the ideas. i'll go look for the box and come back with a bunch of the other ones. or you could keep it simple and go into like hallmark and get him a nice plaque and card. dont do balloons and flowers...i did for my husband on valentines and he giggled and said that was girly..lol..even though he said that..it put a smile on his face and that made me happy. you could also make a huge card with a nice color poster board and inside put a bunch of pictures of you two together from dating to wedding day to recent. and some of just you. or if you have children put some of their pix with captions like "our greatest accomplishment..our children and for that i love you more" i dunno. these may all be tacky or even too time consuming but it's worth a shot
