Do You think I should join in the Sports Meet?

The sports meet of my company will be held in the early of next month,most of my colleagues suggest me to sign up this sports meeting,because I'm always the active role in sport. Now I'm elder,no good energy,do less practice,work hard and tired. I'm an office lady now. I can't let myself to do that thing without full confidence. Actually,I am afraid of to stand with those young girls,I'm worried about failure... My teammates all are also not good at sports,do you think I should join this sports? What's reason? Thanks for your sugesstion !
