If you are a persian.

Well its a excellent movie and i loved the graphics and story. Its beautifully done and extraordinary movie.

i would not recommend this movie to any history teachers because the story plot is completly wrong and it is very offensive for the history of persians.

It's not a historical movie. It's fiction. So Persians should not worry about it.

I would be greatly offended. I would probably not enjoy seeing myself and my countrymen depicted as monsters (literally).

300 was based on history though.. The war depicted in the movie happened in the past. Xerxes and Leonidas were real people too.

iam Persian. At first - i tried to not to be concerned about it, but then i heard many comments about how Persians are "bad." It is very ironic, because historically Spartans were the bad guys (they were the slave owners, while at that time Persians did not even had any slaves. btw, they used slaves in their wars) and Persians were the good guys (they had the first Human Rights document and lived in a very moderate society) I was very offended - but it is just a movie...

It wasn't a historical movie... So its fine... What's the big deal?

The movie was meant for entertainment, and I think it did a very fine job at that.
