Well everyone I do not think I am in good Books with little Fellow hehehe
Why???????????
Well I done a little exploring today with Gissi on our walk and guess what we found this massive Field where Gissi was able to get of the Lead and run like he loves to. And run did he
Gissi loves to shout at all the Dogs he meets. And prance about because he wants to play.
Well he ran all the way across this Field and ignored me shouting him. I was not impressed with him as I am not able to run. I got worried as the little Devil just would not come back. Then great, there is an opening to another massive Field and I knew it was going to take me ages to get to the other end. I walked as fast as I could taking my Inhaler, it took me 5 minutes to get to the other end and great no Gissi. I was calling him and shouting and of course there was another big Field. I could not see the little Beggar, after 5 minutes of calling I was getting scared, Tears came to my eyes . The Tag Gissi has got on is my old Mobile Number and the old Address, as I have not been able to get him a new one yet and he has been tagged and of course that is onm the old Address
I was walking up and down the Field and shouting. No Gissi. Another 5 minutes of shouting and panic setting into my voice I turnd around and there he bounces out of one the Bushes not a care in the world, black Stomach and filthy Paws. I scold him but not to much as I am just happy he is back and of course little Man wasn't bothered anyway he had his fun playing Hide and Seek. I mean you can Imagine him looking at me laughing. We start heading back over the Field I still leave him of the lead as he has decided to be good and stay close to me. This Lady appears with her 2 Dogs. And for the first Time Gissi did not bounce up to them Barking. The Lady asks me if he is Friendly and I say yes just gets over excited a bit. Ayway her 2 Dogs where Ladies. Gissi is still just sniffing the Grass, but of course he decides then that he wants to play and as he is about to start his usual prancing about these 2 Ladies start it instead wanting to play with him and the look on Gissi's Face when they do was great lol It was a case of Wow Ladies Steady here that is my Job,there is 2 of you and one of me. His little Face was a Picture and I just laughed at him. The poor Fellow was trying to get away from the 2 Dogs and of course they want to play. Well when they go, Gissi just gives me one Look as if to say "Thanks for the Rescue" I have to laugh. Well he got a Taste of his own Medicine double Barrell lol. But I have to say ..... He took it like a Man, hahahahahahaha

That sounds really funny and amusing gabs and I only wish I could have been there with a video camera. It reminds me of something out of a Walt Disney movie and I am sure it would have made a good one. Just be careful going through the fields chasing Gissi because you know your track record for having accidents...lol.

ROFL! Ornery little butthead! He had it coming! The picture in my mind of him with the priceless look on his face is sending me into a major giggle fit. That's what he gets for making you worry like that....two females to put him in his place! LOLOL

Gissi sounds quite a mischievous little man, and he really seems amusing.
He must have found a rabbit hole or a buried bone under the bush I would think, if he came out that black. It sounds, by his paws that he'd been digging under there for something.
As for the lady dogs, he shouldn't start what he can'f finish. lol

My dear gabs, that was really funny. Gissi running all over the fields and plaing hide and seek with you my friend. That was not fair as you got exhausted and really worried for him. You too are really emotional like me. But you did get back at him when poor Gissi was trying to get away from the two ladies. lol. My dear it is good to go on walks with Gissi as it can be good relaxing workout besides some fun too. But do take good care of yourself and don't overexert youself and don't get unduely worried about Gissi. Have a great time.:)

What a great story ... I was really able to picture it all happening .. this is worth 10cents of MyLots money any day ...
You'll have to get one of those extra long extending leashes .. that way he can run around but you'll still have him on a lead to 'haul in' when you need to ..

Hi gabs, your sharing reminded me of my dog when he was still alive. The many times he gave me heart palpitations when he would escape the house and go gallivanting somewhere for hours. It was worst when he 'escapes' when it is already night time and after midnight, my neighbours would hear me whistling and shouting 'Joey, Joey!'. Bet they did not love me for that! I am always so relieved to see him come running home at last smelling like garbage at times with his tail tucked between his legs because he knew I was going to scold him. But like you, I usually am so relieved that he even came back that I just scold a little bit and then lay out food and water for him. I really miss him now that he is gone but now that I am living in a small apartment I have to think twice about getting another dog and also I need to know that I can be responsible enough to take care of it. You are so blessed to have Gissi - bet he brings much laughter to your life. Hugs and hugs.

Great story. Sounds like you have yourself a great dog and friend there. Your story sure put a smile on my face and brought back home the relationship I used to have with my own dog before she passed away with cancer at the age of 5yrs.
They are great companions and its sure is true that they can be your best friend sound like your little man is a great joy in your life.

"All's well that ends well" Gabs. I envy you your wonderful days with Gissi. I'm thankful that you've taken the advice of so many of us and carry your inhaler with you! You sure know how to keep us all glued to your postings. It is always a delight to read your "adventures" and at least you haven't had any nasty "accidents" lately. Keep staying safe.
I just can't wait until we have that garden party for all our myLot friends and Gissi! Keep dreaming!
