Do you like intel or amd

Intel only has an advantage over AMD as it has been in the markets for longer. Also the initial releases of the processors of AMD were not box processors, ie one had to purchase a heat sink and fan on their own and couple it with the processor. Earlier AMD processors would generate a lot of heat and as a result, many of the aftermarket heat-sinks and fans could not cool it down effectively, leading to over-heating and burnouts, but all that is old hat. Now AMD too sells only box processors, like intel and there is absolutely no issue with the new processors. In fact, the new generation AMD processors are cooler during use than their more fancied intel counterparts and it is an open secret that AMDs outperform intels. My money is on AMD. They are the best that your money can buy.

AMD is bit cheaper but quality is the same, some 10 years ago there was some issues, but not anymore. If I would build server system, I would buy intel, but for home use I prefer AMD.

core 2 duo is better in performance!but i prefer AMD since i am using one.I use AMD because -comparatively cheap -high performance -high stabilty -greater support for gaming i recommned AMD FX 64 bit computing.It has many advantage over intel pentium 4 processors.but i heard that intel pentium duo core2 is much better than other precedures and a like performance with AMD 64.so i f you are going to buy a new computer either you go for AMD FX 64 or Pentium 4 Duo core 2.
