April Fool's best experience.

Just wanted to share where April Fool's day came from. It dates back at least to the Middle Ages in Europe where the first of April (near the beginning of spring, and back then March 21st was the New Year as well as the first day of spring) was a day when servants were served by their masters, and there was feasting and revelry. It was a day where the world turned upside down for a little while.

When my girls were teenagers and woke up for school one morning I heard my oldest daughter in the bathroom just a screaming! When I ran in there she was in front of the mirror saying, just look at me mom, just look at me! There were these red blotches all over her face. I started freaking out and asked her if she felt sick. She said no but I am not going to go to school looking like this! Then all of a sudden I heard this snikering behind me. It was her sister. I told her its not funny. Then she says, April fools!! She had used makeup on her sister face as she was sleeping! That was years ago but we still laugh about it to this day!

I guess you are being funny? anyway My brother was born on April fool's day and he really is a fool. No it is not April fools day! Have a nice week-end.

My best April Fool's Day experience was in 1969. That's the day I got a divorce from my first husband. Even though my testimony was taken on March 31, the judge thought it was appropriate to wait and sign the divorce decree the next day. The judge was our neighbor and knew both of us, but he thought we were fools for getting a divorce. I told him he didn't know what it was like to have to live with either one of us, but he still waited until April Fool's Day to sign our decree. P.S. Both of us have been much happier with our present spouses (mine on second try and his on fifth try).
