Canon or nikon?

maybe at the end of the year i go to buy a new camera,
so i left my old prakticar, for a digital one, wich is the best of this:
Nikon D50 or Canon Eos350?

I am a canon lover.I think canon eos 350d is a cheap and entry level.But it's a bit old now ,I think you can choose eos 400d instead.I one of my favorite functions is automatic sensor cleaning function that cleans the sensor every time you start your camera!For nikon I don't know much about that.I think Canon have the leadership in optics and imaging products.They also have more types of lens and accessories.Just visit their websites and find out what's new and which one is the best! i've rad some blog about autoclean. and seems it doesen't work very well,
the best autoclean sistem it's for olympus, aniway this is a good point for canon
against nikon, i don't like to read alot their own website, cause they muat sell their product, so i think the best way to know, it's to ask to someone,
of course their web site are good to know tecnical data ;)

Nikon is a great camera ever since in SLR version. Now they move to Digital SLR, they still be the number one because they made their own Nikor lens.
Canon is great too, it's the second best. If you want to buy Canon i suggest you buy the Rebel class or EOS400. I don't think they still produce the EOS350 version. Don't buy the EOS300 or EOS30 because they're too light.
Me myself prefer Canon camera.. the EOS400.

i personally prefer nikon. but both r good enough. one thing is that nikon d60 is compaired to canon eso 350.so think about that.but colour saturation is better in nikon. i can suggest u to go to www.flickr.com and search for the camera model and watch the photo of the camaras.
