Gold or Silver

I love silver jewelry too. I actually don't really own more than 2 or three things that are gold, and all the jewelry that I make and sell in my store is also silver. Gold and nothing but gold for me. I have never cared for silver jewelry. My daughter likes silver,but I say gold. Gold and Diamonds are a girls best friend in my world!!

Gold - I like silver too, but not in jewelery. I like silver artifacts and in the house - little niknacks - bells, teaspoon, cups and such things, but for jewelery - always gold.

I only have one thing that is made of gold and that is a cat's eye ring that belonged to my great-grandmother's brothers wife --boy that's a tongue twister, no?--I've worn it since god knows when and you might say it's a link to my ancestors...but other than that my preference has always been silver...and that might reflect a bit of my part Native American heritage since I wear a lot of silver and turquoise jewelry..Silver is also the preferred precious metal for some reason amongst us who follow a pagan/wicca path...Besides that gold ring, I always wear, and never take off a small silver pinkie ring, a turquoise and silver ring and a celtic knot design ring..

I definitely prefer silver jewelry. Most everything I wear is either sterling silver or silver-colored surgical steel. Gold just doesn't look good against my skin.

my husband loved silver, but I always loved gold. My fiance also loves gold but he is not big on jewelry anyway. He has one ring and that is it.

Definitely silver for me. I dislike gold as it can look brassy, whereas silver always looks cool! I make jewellery for a living and always use silver, however there is a relatively "new" metal out now called Argentium which is basically the same as sterling silver, but takes much longer to tarnish. Saves a lot of cleaning and messing around! lol

i rather like gold for its value. i rarely have any silver jewelry, just a few peices. i buy gold as an investment, also for their beauty and luster. i guess im just not into silver, though the prices of silver jewelry when you buy them are more cheaper than gold. i just really prefer gold.

One of my favorite subjects..silver jewelry...I love it!!! I never have like yellow gold..but I do like white gold and platinum..I have quite a collection of Indonesian silver bracelets and earrings...they are my favorite..I wear silver all the time..in all jewelry...watches, rings, bracelets, earrings, pendants,toe rings, you name it!! I don't know why I prefer it..I just think it's extremely attractive...Others wear yellow gold and I like it on them...but when I have it on it just doesn't have the attraction for me that silver does!!! Even though I am a true redhead and people tell me my jewelry should be in gold tones...It doesn't change my preference!!!

same here, i really love jewelry..i have gold necklace which is given by my boyfriend last December, he's Christmas gift for me..i have a silver ring which is also given by my bestfriend..i noticed nowadays, specially here in our country, people are prefered to use silver jewels, because they are more fashion and it's more attractive for me..

Almost all of my jewelries are made of gold.. earings, rings, necklaces, bracelets. The silver jewelry I have are just 2 pieces and I just use them once. Silver is not suited for me because of the nature of my job. I work with acids and chemicals and silver can easily react to these substances.

I love accesorizing.. I love jewelries.. i buy them depending on the style. if i found a silver jewelry that looks good on me, i buy it.If i found some gold jewelry and it's really irresistible, i save some money and i buy it. Gold jewelries are expensive that silver so I have more silver jewelries than gold ones.

I prefer white gold. silver is okay for everyday ornaments while gold is soo tacky. I dont know perhaps it doesnt look good in my complexion so I stay away from them :)
