I'm not a Baptist, but I have Baptist friends and understand a little about them. There are many, many sub denominations in the Baptist church(which I think is what you're asking about?)
Some of them are Pentecostal in nature, some are liberal, some conservative. There is a list of these sub denominations here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Baptist_denominations
Each entry is linked to a page that explains a little about them.

Baptist, Methodist, Episcopalian, Catholic, Holiness, Pentacostal, etc.,etc.,etc. DENOMINATION IS ABOMINATION.
-Fulfill ye my ioy, that yee be like minded, hauing the same loue, being of one accord, of one minde.
-Phil II:2 KJV,1611
QUESTION: Where is there "like-mindedness", "the same Love", all in agreeance about all things(one accord), and all in one mind (the mind of Christ)in the several so-called churches? The Church is not a building, it is not a religeon, it is not earthly. It is the Body of Christ, and if you are in Christ you are a member of His Church. Where two or three are gathered in His Name there He also will be. That is Church fellowship! No money required! No special certificate needed! No approval of man needed! No sacrifice of any kind except one. To offer Jesus up the sacrifice of PRAISE!!!!!!!

Hi, Emma's Mom! : ) I am Free Will Baptist and my dad is the pastor of the church I go to. I am somewhat familiar with other Baptist denominations as well, but of course, not as familiar with them as I am my own denomination.
