Do you listen to music while working?

I always have music going while burning my fingers posting to discussions. But my wicked bunny bite the wire of my speaker. So I ended up typing in total silence. I usually played lullaby songs which is really soothing. I abhored loud music. My girls yelling are enough to give me bloody ears...LOL!

I have only 128 MB of ram and for practicing my coding I have added .NET to my PC so these days my PC is really running very slow. whenever I play music the browser always gets stuck so I can either listen to music or work online. Its not system's fault . poor thing is just overloaded so its working as best as it can. I am waiting for my exams to get over so that I can just remove all of this stuff and my com can heave a sigh of relief at last. lol

I do, it helps to pass the time and make the chores a little less mundane for me. The only chore I have a real difficult time listening to music with is Vacuuming! I see that the new orecks have built in radio headphones, lol.

Sometimes, my friend. When I am in the mood, I will play songs which I like or just some soothing music. Other times like now for instance, it is all quiet here. Total silence except my typing sound. ;P

I cannot do it in my workplace ,but when I am at home, I will definitely have my music on, I will open the real playes and let the music run randomly, at the same time, i may be reading newspaper or writing at mylot, I can have more ideas when I am listening to music, mayh be because my mind is relaxed when listening to music so that i can always come up with good ideas..

Oh yes I very much do. Listening to music is my hobby. It helps me keep rejuvinated. My working efficiency increses and feel less tired at the end of it. I like to listen anything soothing and mild which I can listen for long durations without feeling bored or stressed.

i listen to music when i do pretty much anything...especially when i go to bed at night. i use my iPod and curl up under my covers and listen to my music as i attempt to sleep. i love to listen to music while working. i break out one of my iPods and put on the headphones. It helps me to concentrate and to think. It also eeps me involved.

I cannot work with music on. I need to work in a complete silence environment in order to concentrate to have a clearer mind.

We are a few people in the room and they always put radio on or Cds. Each has own taste so during day i have big range of music styles. But i m fine with it cuz i just love music in general. And so to say i m just lazy change cds or put radio on :)

At home, Im constantly listening to music. But at work, it becomes a little difficult with the 10,000 other people around me. And its not even encouraged. So usually while at home im a music freak but at work im not.

I cannot really work with too quiet an environment. While working, I often had the radio on, as the radio is acceptable by my colleagues. They listen too. If I am playing private music, often I will put on headphones. I just find that even if the volume is very low, it is can be disturbing my colleagues. My colleagues do play music at their desk and I find it disturbing if it is something not pleasing to my ears.
