Do you think they really work? I ordered one from Athena's. I know a woman who sells that stuff now. Anyways, it came in the little jar that you see in the picture. It was little pellets. When melted they become like a normal candle. Since it is a pheromone candle, I expected more. I do get relaxed. It helps with stress big time. Do you think pheromone candles work as well as they claim they do? And if so, do you use one to help?

Well, to keep this discussion "clean" pheromones are supposed to have a reaction with you when you enhale them. Sorta of a "good" reaction with you and your partner. I just didn't work on me. Does that explain it? It has a great smell. Can't explain how it smells but it is good.

well, I have to say yea I think they work since I sell them, lol. but yea, I think pheromones do some good as turnons too. I've noticed there's just some men that without cologne or extra scents added on just have a 'smell' to them, a natural scent besides the body odor, that really appeals to me & I want to be closer to them and then get more turned on when I am close to them. I'm guessing that'd be the pheromones at work.

Yeah, I'd say so. Did you place your linky in your profile? Maybe you will get some orders. I love my candle. Thanks for giving me your link.

Maybe. I know that people respond certain ways to colors and scents but the pheromone theory has not been proven. It might be the placebo effect.
You should try an experiment with your husband or friends. Light a regular candle one day and see what they say. Then try a pheromone candle on a different day. Don't tell them that you are using them as a guinea pig. LOL.

I do not believe in pheromone candles, and I'm a candle maker. LOL It *HAS* been scientifically proven though that certain scents trigger arousal. For example, a big one is cinnamon. Licorice is another. Also pumpkin and lavender as a combination is supposed to do it, but I'm too chicken to try it. It just sounds like it would smell nasty. LOL
