I cannot imagine having to posts on forums such as myLot using dial up connections. You must really have the patience to wait for it to load and post. I hope that you would get your broadband connection soon! You will be glad that you choose to upgrade since it will be worth it!

When I started here, I used dial-up also and it was very slow. I think I only got about ten or twenty responses in because it would take forever to get from page to page. You are definitely right about it being worth it for using broadband. And, what's funny, is that I am now making enough on the web to pay for it! I don't think I could have done that with dial-up.

I normally use a broadband connection for Internet browsing as it is fast and convenient.

at first i used dial-up coz i thought they're way much cheaper but as the time goes high speed internet became cheaper so i switched and noticed a very big difference, well worth the money

I used dial-up for a long time and didn't think I needed anything faster as I was always using old computers. Now, my computer is quite a bit faster and I've got DSL. Boy, I will never go back to dial-up if I can help it. I love how fast it is as well as the fact that it's always on and I can use my phone at the same time.

I have cable modem which is high speed, I used to be on dial-up and I didn't liked it a bit! It sucked. But now, with my high speed connection, everything is faster and better and even though it is costly, I rather choose that any day over dial-up.
