What have you tried to loose weight? Did it work? I have tried lots of things. Some have worked but you seem to starve yourself. The last one I did was the curves diet worked for awhile but still felt like starving all of the time. Wish it could be easier that is for sure. Like to have some advice. Thanks in advance.

Yes those diet pills nd other things are not good for you. I have tried lots of different things and come to the conclusion that you have to just watch what you put in your month.

I am still about 30 lbs heavier than before my first child. I was always a little big (especially because I was a ballet dancer and tennis player and never really looked like either). I tried the Atkin's diet once when I was working full-time and I almost passed out within about 4 hours of getting no carbs whatsoever! I learned fast that I cannot go without them. I have tried to eat less and all of that but I seem to need to eat often or I get really tired. I exercised for a little but it was only a trial membership then because I didn't have any money I had to stop. I have now decided that I am not going to torture myself into losing weight. I love the exercising and it makes me feel the best of all of my options so I make sure that whenever i walk my son to school that I at least jog a little when I am going uphill and also going down. Then at least I am getting a little every day. I am not good at scheduled exercise though.

Excercise is a good thing. Have to keep that up. I do it about 3-4 times a week at least if not more. It is hard to loose weight. Do what is best for you.

Well, due to being Diabetic and on Insulin, I have started gaining weight to where I feel Fat some days. I know I need to find a way to start walking more and watching what I eat more so that I can somehow take off some of this weight that I have gained. Problem is I am so Busy lately, and have a touch of Rhuemetoid Arthritis so I just never seem to get enough time to want to walk around to get excercise.

You may want to check into a local gym and make yourself go at least 3 times a week. It does you wonders. I go to curves and have met lots of friends and doesn't make you feel like you are really excercising. I too am busy but make the time not as often as I would like though.

Not now but I do overweight when I was still in school. Now I control what to eat and lots of exercise. Not for a good body though, just for a healthy body.

This is so true you need excercise for a healthy body too. I do at least 3 times a week wish could do more but summer is so busy. Do more in winter.

I was a little overweight before. So I decided to go under a diet. At first I thought I would not be able to reduce weight, because I have tried it once before for one month and nothing happened. In fact I gained more weight during that month. However I was determined to reduce weight and I did a three month strict diet. I eat a little breakfast consisting of cornflakes with soy milk, for lunch I eat only a little rice with some fish or any meat and more vegetables. I skip tea, and only drink soy milk with organic food supplement at night. I drink a lot of water. Thank God, now I have managed to reduce weight and I have reached my ideal weight.

yes it is very hard to diet and it seems like that is all I do so get upset at times and really go on a binge. Maybe someday will be able to get there but not at this time. I do excercise so that does help. Congrats on getting to your goal.

I tried the Weight Watchers diet but I was very hungry, I took those diet bars and I lost a little with them, but not much. After that my husband suggested we try this combination diet pill, powdered drink supplement, but I started to get pain in my legs, Then he bought me some hard core diet pill for a month in order for me to lose the first ten pounds, but they made me ill, I got very nervous and very sleepy. This was including a low fat, low carb, be careful and eat a lot of salad diet. I also exercised, so it seems that the usual low fat diet does not work for me. Right now I am eating yogurt and fruit with a little meat or eggs in the morning, and either soup or sandwich for lunch, plus the regular meal, but with brown rice instead of white, hardly any potatoes. I wish I could eat more fruit, i.e. berries, but according to my husband they are too expensive. So I am stuck with what pittance I get from my garden.

Yes it is hard to diet and it seems like you just have to stick to it all of the time and I am not good at that for sure. Just keep working at it and in time it will come.

I have been trying to find out how to keep weight off permanently over the last few days. These are the things that I have read: Continue to exercise to maintain weight loss Do not crash diet Change your lifestyle forever - do not just diet, you need to learn about healthy eating I find it hard to keep weight off myself but I have just had a cholesterol test which shows I am on the high side and this has really made me want to lose weight and eat more healthily.

I am not overweight, but I have watched many programs on it and the trick seems to be eating more healthy to begin with rather than eating less as people that cut down on what they are eating feel as though they are starving themselves and this shocks their body, which has negative effects. So rather than grabbing a burger at a fast food place, make your own at home and maybe have it with salad, so you know what is in it etc. Also exercise is essential, because it will tone you and turn your fat into muscle, you may not see the weight drop off you on the scales as muscle weighs more than fat, but you will see your clothes drop off you.
