What do you do when you will start writing a story? Write and write and the inspiration will come alone, or wait and wait until the inspiration come? What do you like, and what's the best way in your opinion? Please share your experience

I rarely ever find myself at a loss for words. When I do, it's easily solved by a simple conversation with a friend or a stranger, whether via phone, forums, internet, or in person.
I try to write mostly about the stuff that I KNOW, rather than stuff I can only speculate on. You'd really be amazed at how much knowledge you've got tucked away. It's a lot more than you'd realize at first consideration.

Well I don't often find myself at a loss for words unless I'm writing something I really have no interest in. Though if I do find I need a little extra inspiration besides the idea I already have or the story or article, I'll talk to a friend, look at some pictures..go for a run or a walk (we live in the middle of nowhere near a creek and some woods, it can be very beautiful and sometimes it's all I need to spark something in my brain). I don't know..sometimes it's something inexplicable. I run by feelings..and sometimes all I hve to do is duplicate a feeling and suddenly the words just flow easier.
It all depends on the writer..some things that may inspire me may not inspire someone else. We all just have to find our happy medium on our own I guess.

Sometimes I just wait for it and it usually comes. With the story I have going now I had a huge urge to write and I did. I started to write and the story flowed. Right now though I'm a little at a stand still. I haven't typed what I have written for my work or wrote anymore on it this week.
