Hi everyone, I'd like to ask for your opinions and you can also share your own experiences by simply answering the topic. I had been exposed to many situations that were simply amazing. I have read some successful business tycoons that had made their way to path of gold by DOING THEIR VERY BEST. Most of these people started from being poor then just pursue their goals and that's it! Their family and next generation were about to inherit all those they had made (well of course they did it not just for themselves but for their loved ones too)
somehow, I've come to know many of us getting what they want just because lady luck is on their side (without exerting too much effort) Just like the movie of Lindsay Lohan (just my luck) Oh well, that is really a how-i-wish it will happen to me
now, on your own experiences and in your point of view, which would you wish to do and happen in getting rich, by LUCK of by PURSUING IT?
For me, it's all in your hands BUT keep this in mind, there were things that EASY COME and ESSY GO, if you want challenges to your life, you can always choose difficult things to do.. it's your CHOICE and things you want to happen in your life depends on CHOICES you've made.
Have a nice day everyone!

Getting rich for me is neither by luck or by doing everything. It's all about doing things wisely.
I have a friend who won lottery. But since the money came so easily, she end up broke and now starting from scratch.
Another friend of mind had set his mind on making himself rich by doing everything, but in the end doing everything is not enough. Doing everything at the same time drived him ouot of focused on things he deemed necessary to be rich.
Doing everything can be a starter to a man who wants to become financially stable. But for a man who wants to be rich, he must focus himself on what he can do, and DOING THE RIGHT THINGS AT THE RIGHT TIME.

Hi! First of all, welcome to myLot! Well, this is case-to-case, of course. Some people are just plain lucky (like those with inheritance) whereas some really worked hard to get to where they are now. In my case, it's both actually. I tend to be very lucky in terms of career. My mother would often tell me that I'm a money magnet. Money just comes easy, and it's true. Once I have the money, I try my best to maintain it, which should be the case. That's when hard work gets in. I believe that the fruits are sweeter when they were from blood, sweat, and tears. They also last longer. That's why for me, it's better to continue on working hard. Nothing to lose. Happy myLotting!

In my opinion there are only three ways one can get rich. First, if you are someone who is in a family of businessmen and women then most probably you already have the resources you need to start up a good business. You won't have to start from scratch. Second, if you are simply someone who is determined to succeed and get rich and have tried everything in business and got the right one for you, then you're hard work and effort would probably pay off. Third is there are simply people who for some reason are already destined to be rich, like people who've won lotteries or the likes. However, the greatest success is not really getting rich in one point of ones life but being able to maintain that richness and have it forwarded to their youngs, and above all being able to share it to other people who are most in need of even just a fraction of their richness.

i'd rather do it my own way in order to get rich. i don't rely on luck. sometimes, i felt too that sometimes, i just have an average luck. it's good to be proud that you strive hard on your way to getting rich than telling everyone that "I'm a lucky guy" coz i got my money by winning a lottery.

getting rich is not that easy actually...if someone says get rich scheem or business that means never trust them and then if someone says "this is not get rich quick program " then never ever belive them at all , its all marketing stratagies ...to get rich you have understand the market first then the type of people who are running it and why they are targetting people like you...market is a kind of a tool to draw money but then if strangers are promising you many things then its a risk. NEVER THINK OF GETTING PAID, ALWAYS THINK OF HAVING POTENTIAL TO PAY OTHERS. thats the way you can be rich

For every successful person's story that we hear, there are thousands of those who failed, or did not make it rich or to the top. Did they not try? Of course they did but they did not succeed. For those who made it to the top-a very tiny minority-it is no doubt ladt luck who was with them. Every thing worked out nicely for them!
For an average person-he belongs to the large majority-it is only hard work that fetches him only average or small return. But since this is happening to those who constitute a large majority, this, my friend, is the reality, the truth.

I'd say both. If you don't work hard then you will never be succesful and earn more money. If you never buy lottery then you never know what you can win. I for one never win big money so I let my husband buys lottery since he seems to "attract" money more than I do. I won now and then but $ 200 is maximum.

Getting rich is always involved with our Hard work and maximum efforts. Only some times may be, little bit LUCK should be helpful.
So we always try to do hard work to earn money or getting rich.

Me, Getting rich by pursuing it to my own, because it feels good to spend your money when it came from your hard work or effort.
But, by luck is not bad at all but we must spend that in a good way sometimes people tend to spend money like winning a lottery but don't spend it wisely. if ever,my luck to get rich by that i'll put it in good use.

I think that it could go all different ways. I think that a lot of movie stars/musicians have to deal with luck and doing their very best. But people like paris hilton and nicole richie are just lucky. and while others like martha stewart have to use their best efforts.

I would say that getting rich is by luck for some people and for others it is a lot of hard work and determintation and getting a lucky break along the way .
It depends on how determined a person in and how much drive they have to make something of themselves that will determine how they do on there own , but then there are always the lucky people who buy a ticket and there numbers get drawn . We should all just try to be happy with what we have and not worry about how much others have as you will always find someone with more money then you have :)

Hello & welcome to MyLot mysticgirl! While I'm definately not on my way to getting rich, I have a tendency of not depending on luck, but in my own efforts instead. I haven't watched Just My Luck yet (just dvr'd it last night) but base it on my own experiences.
I know it is much nicer to get a little lucky, but you're right, easy come - easy go. Through your own efforts though, you can have a solid foundation to start from in whatever you decide to persue.
