Cricketer Anil Kumble said good bye to one day match but he could not say good bye to his spectators the manner that he wanted to.Infact he wanted to say good bye to his fans standing in the field with the ball in his hand. No reason was available why he was not taken into the playing group against Sri Lanka. As far as i know him as a cricketer he is a well disclipined gentleman with appreciatable manners. I have n't heard or noticed during his period of play that he behaved in any form to hurt his team mates or even the players of opposite team.He is liked by everybody.I take this opportunity to wish him good luck with fine memories of his past cricket.

Yes thats true.. Jumbo is one of the greatest cricketers i hve ever seen.. He is perhaps the most consistent bowler of all time.. I can't understand why he was dropped from the one-day side. His vast amount of experience would surely had helped us against Sri-Lanka.. He has the great ability to quickly read the batsmen's minds and he also works out the weaknesses of all the batsmen. He is really a very true genuine person, well educated and he comes from a high class family. He gives his 100% everytime when he is given the opportunity to bowl, bat or field.. He is a genuine team man and plays for the country in real sense.. His excellent ability to bowl flat googly's is really incredible.. I don't think that India will find a bowler like him in the coming decades.. We will really miss u "Jumbo"... God Bless u, and we all wish u a very good luck in future. U will surely be remembered as India's most loved man..

he was a superb player and a person both on and off the field.he was very composed and knew exactly what he was doing.who can forget his feat of taking 10 wickets.he was not recognised like most other stars and wasnt chosen for endorsements.he was considered a medium pace bowler most of the times.:-).a really quiet person,an engineer and a great person by heart.he will be really missed from one dayers.he was a real match winner.well it is bad that sucha plyer had to leave unceremoniously.lets wish him the best of luck.

Bow to this legend leg spinner. He should have played the match against sri lankans. I was really disappointed when the team was announced for the last match which was a decider and Anil Kumble has been the best who can handle pressure and break through the partnerships. Coming to his career he was the best leg spinner india has produced so far. He is such a disciplied person who never over reacts on field. Such a great gentle man retiring from odi cricket whose presence will be definetly missed.

Anil's Immaculate line and length , his ability to deliver the ballo in the right areas with unfailing consitency , his passion for the game and a never say die attitude make him shades better than the likes of Harbhajan singh . He is the best we have and easily comparable to a shane or a Murali . Its a shame that he was not given the chance when the country needed his services . He could have single handled bundled up a team like Bangldesh but he was not chosen to play . Really unexplainable ! Its a shame that Indian cricket is not giving the kind of respect he deserves . I think he has done more for the team than a Sachin or a Dhoni . I salute the Engineer .

Since Anil Kumble has not been a regular member in the playing 11 in ODI matches, his decision to retire from ODI matches is absolutely correct. However, he will continue to play Test cricket. Even he was not given respect he deserve. He was overlooked and was not given enough chance to be in shorter version of cricket . I like him as a player and admire him most .
