This is the problem with the Indian fans. Even the World cup 2007 has not completed. Already you started dreaming about India winning the next world cup.
The selectors/ players/fans should understand that mere dreaming does not help. They should have a proper plan and work it out to perfection.
Let us start saying that India is another team and they have as good a chance of winning the world cup as any other team. Let us stop building up the pressure. Let us not start as favourites. This favourites tag has killed the Indian hopes and frustrated the Indian fans. We were much disappointed as it happened in 1996, 2003 and 2007. So, less expectations would help. Thanks.

I also agreed totally with you.
First of all Indian fans should understand there role.
Don't give that etra pressure for the players. In most other countries they don't get that pressure.
Also like to said that be realistic. Be aware of both wining and loosing.
Then that must be very helpful to the Indian cricketers for there proper mental attitude.

next world cup is in 2011. i think indian team should play every match as a world cup's match and every series as world cup from next series. if they will think like this, they will put thier best to win matches. as soon as the world cup will come they would have been prepared for the world cup and we can beleive on our team that they will win the next world cup.

I don't think India or Pakistan can win the next world cup either. Because that 2011 WC is mainly take part in the India and Pakistan. As well as Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Think about the pressure for the Indian and Pakistani cricketers from there spectators. Will be very difficult Even my be impossible.
I don't think that the Indian team will not grow for a quality team as such quickly.
Even though they loose this world cup, they had a great balanced team this time. In fact had a good balance team other than the Australia and Sri Lanka. Its only a matter of poor performance of the cricketers.
For 2011 WC there will be no Sachin,Ganguly,Dravd,Kumble... so can you think about a world cup.
Even though these guys are there at that time they will be vary, tired crickets.

The situation right now is very bleak for india..india can only dream of winning the next world cup if it acts right now- the seniors must be weeded out and young players should be blooded. if india can produce a team in which each player has played at least 50-100 odis india will have a strong chance.also the support from the home fans will be a major plus-point

Just stop Dreaming about World Cups Guys!!!!
This is the Indian team!!!! Can't say anything... They can beat Australia and can lose against Bangladesh... Our team is almost unpredictable..
Firstly if our team loses against Bangladesh, then BullShit.!! How can u imagine that out team can win the Cup in 2011 man????
They will have to burn their hearts out to get that cup.. Its not a matter of a cup to tea...

Its still early days. Don't think it too much. Post this question one month prior to the 2011 world cup. Then we can get a more good answer. First of all try to get out from this mighty mighty hole.

I DONT CARE!I WILL NOT WASTE MY TIME for this cricket anymore!all players should be dismissed from indian team.not a dravid alone.list includes dhoni,sachin,sehwag even ganguly.ganguly may be top scorer but his play is not for team india,it was to sure his place in indian team
i was a die hard cricket fan.and as i am an indian i have a great support for them.but not any more.i dont understand why they fail?they were never serious.they broken hundreds crore of indian people.they not at all tried to fight!
I HATE THEM ALL...i mean it.now i take some serious resolution.i will never waste my time for cricket anymore.i am tired of indian team.
