Brocolli

Brocolli is good for health and has many a benefits. Does anybody have any ideas what to cook with it other than soup, salad and pasta ?

Try that : Brocolli Gratin

In a rectangular baking pan pour some frozen brocolli ( fill the pan ), open a can of cream of mushroom or cream of celeri, pour on the brocolis, fill the empty can with hot water, pour - stir it all well - Bake for 30 min. at 400F - Add some grated cheese - put back in the oven for 8 more minutes ... Enjoy!

make them a stir fry in a oyster sauce, it's tasty. I can tell you how to make it. You have to prepare the items below before cooking them
dried shitake mushroom ( soaked and sliced)
Carrot - shredded
Brocolli - cut small
cauliflower - cut small
snow been
1 pcs red big chili - shredded
1 cube chicken stock powder
oyster sauce
2 pcs shallots - chopped
1 garlic - chopped
1 inch ginger - slice
cooking oil
preparation
heat the cooking oil and add the garlic, shallot and the ginger. When it produce the smell and the color turn to be a bit brown, add the vege, saute for a while. Add the oyster sauce and some amount of water, stir for 2 minutes. add the chicken stock cube and stir for another 3 minutes. take them out when the vege is cook or half cook whichever suit you. serve with hot plain rice.

you could make a stir fry. get some other veggies (zuccini, mushrooms, red peppers are all good and what ever else you fancey) chop them through them in a wok with some olive oil in it maybe crush some garlic in the oil while your heating it up and then add what ever spice you want. i like red curry paste personaly.
you can also add meat easily but put the oil in and cook the meat in the oil for a bit first then through the veggies in.

I like it steamed just my itself.
Steam it until just tender and top it with a cheese sauce and it is very good.
