With the latest ban on Internet browsing at premier institutions for a few hours at midnight, Is it very true that Internet and PC games are preventing all of us from meeting our relatives, friends and meeting our neighbours? Has it restricted socializing? I have the feeling that it has restricted many prevented many children from playing outdoor games. In the long run I also have the feeling that this might pose several health risks to the forthcoming genrations. Socializing with relatives, long hour chats with cousins nearby all these have altogether stopped? Why should we allow this to happen? Amidst the long hours we spend in browsing, let us make it a point to defintiely spend some time with relatives and friends nearby. Lets go out to the beach with family and friends to relax. Let us allow kids at home to play more outdoor games along with the PC games they get involved in!

i do agree with u. i myself feel the same.i was too good at socializing with my frnds n relatives but now after i started chating n browsing, i rarely feel like moving out n meeting my near ones. i am in a hurry than ever to finish my work n rush here as if my pc is dying without me.the thing is actually dat i am dying without this pc. definitely health is also at risk. sitting long hours will result in knee problems, heavy wt n many more. eyes will also be punished for the same. i am trying since many days to go back to my general routine n not stick to this pc only. hope i am successful.

i dont think that internet has restricted socializing. it depends on the person using the internet. you can also socialize through internet. say online socialization. i personally feel its a lot better this way. now as far as friends an relatives are concerned, its a selfish world.
