Pennies a day will keep the bill man away

I heard this story a few weeks ago. I had to share for those that have not heard it and see if others felt the same.
There was a elderly man who was so fed up with his electricity bill going up and up that he payed the entire $526.00 bill with pennies and paid and extra $50 or so to mail it to the electric company.
Now I have become fed up with a couple of my bills seeming to go higher and higher no matter how much I try to conserve and I figured why not do the same thing.
Are there any of you out there that think you would do the same thing and to what company would you do it to. I most definitely would do it to my gas company it has gone from $60 buck to $300 bucks in 4 months.
I also heard of another man doing this to his credit card company. He sent several penny payments a day via online payment and from what I understood locked up there online payment system.
I guess they both say don't get mad get even.
So would you and to what company?

I'd like to jump in here for a moment and suggest we think about the bank employees involved here. My best friend is a teller, and she's had people pull the change thing on her before, and as her branch doesn't have an automatic change counter, it really does take a LONG time for her an a coworker or two (whoever can be spared) to count all that change out, when the could be helping other customers or doing something more useful. So have a thought for the bankers, please, because none of this is their fault!

Sure and most definitely it is not the tellers fault. However I am talking about money going to say a utility company and not a bank. I do know that eventually it has to go to the bank however

I am definitely thinking about doing it I mean these people have to realize we are not gonna just take these bill hikes sitting down

Whew! That's a good one. They'll surely hate you for that. I have been collecting 10 peso coins for a while and I have lots of them stash in my office mobile. I wonder what would the collector say if I handed him around 500 pieces of such without even a bag. Mind you, those are heavy too.
Naahhh, I wouldn't wanna do that. Nice idea though.

Oh and I forgot to mention that the guy that paid his credit card bill in pennies a day online his account was closed by the company but stated he still would finish paying the bill in pennies a day.
I hope they don't turn the poor mans electric off.
