After going for a music club meeting , the musicians their were so talented. Name any song and they will play the tune for you. I am inspired by that and i plan to be as good or even better than them. i want to play How to save a life by The Fray. and superman by five for fighting.

Have you ever touched a keyboard before? If you didn't, I think it will take you at least one or two years just to master the basics (I mean the simplest chords and a very little improvising), unless you're a genius obviously. If you plan to play alone, it will be a little harder but if you can form a band with a few friends it will all be a lot easier since you'll just have to play a few chords (e.g. "How to save a life" is pretty simple to play, but if you play the chords alone without other instruments it won't be satisfying at all). Learning as self-taught is a good thing but having a piano teacher at least for the first months could make it all a lot better, believe me.

Well good for you and keep up the good work. Just remember it takes time and patience to master something. Don't give up until you have done what you started out to do.
