War.. Essencial or worthless?

What is your general opinion on the current war in Iraq? Are you for it, against it or undecided. Personally, I am against it. Yet, on the other hand I support the troops. My reasoning for this is simple: the less troops we have over there the less likelyhood of lovedones being killed. Besides, the longer we are in this the more likely we are to "need" so many more soldiers that we will reenact the draft. This lowers the amount men in the country that will protect us from the inside. Thusly, making the country more succeptible to attack on Americanm soil. Does this sound right? Please do not post just to call me an ungrateful, unpatriotic person. I am just using my right to free speech that was won by soldiers. I just want my boyfriend that got sent over to come home in one piece and not in a bodybag. I want his parents to rest assured that their son is safe. I want the family and friends of the men and women in this country's armed forces to know that they are not being put in danger for a threat that could have been taken care of years and years ago.
