Because of the media a lot of teenagers and adults nowadays are punishing themselves to get the perfect body. Has anyone ever sufferd from an eating disorder?

Hi, I've had bulimia nervosa for several years. It was only last year when I discovered badminton that I was able to get rid of it. But sometimes when I feel depressed, this disease creeps back to me. I would eat huge amounts of food and throw them up afterwards. It's really very unhealthy. That's why I divert my attention to productive activities so that my mind is being kept busy and for me not to get depressed.

I do suffer from eating disorders. I weigh about 115 pounds right now when I should weigh about 130 for my age and height. I barely eat, and I work out alot. I'm training to be a boxer, and I'm a competitive figure skater. I'm always in the gym or running. I've had my eating disorders ever since I was about 11 years old due to the skating. Everyone would compete about how much body fat they had and how much they weighed. Ever since then, I've been obsessed with it. Besides the media isn't helping that much since it's pushing eating disorders on everyone.
