I was born in the U.K. and used to wish that I had been born in the U.S.A as a kid, mainly because I thought it was all about vast open spaces and riding horses, which I loved. These days I like the idea of going somewhere where the weather is great and not have cold and wet winters like we do here. Parts of Australia sound nice, but I think it's all about the "grass being greener on the other side" maybe. I think that that there are grounds for complaint regardless of what country I would live it, but aim to be more optimistic nowadays. I have my home with all I need and can never think what I would as birthday or Xmas presents - so all-in-all life's not too bad :-)

In fact if we look at developing countries .over half the world lives under thatch, but they all do it in different ways .People in developing countries are often reluctant to go back to traditional materials and sould prefer modern buildings .

I was born in Greece and admire my country of birth. I admire France as well in terms of culture, so if I had another choice France would be my second choice.

I didn't wish though, but i've always wondered 'what if' I was born Australian or American? I don't know.. i've always been curious about it. Yet, I don't regret being a Filipino coz' I love Filipinos :) I'm happy and proud that I am a Filipino. I believe we are unique and different in a lot of ways ;)
