i think southafrica will win this cup...most of the team players are in good form..smith,devilleres always show a good opening..langervelt,nitini,hall..are in good form.good in line en length..although they had lost with aussies in the league..im sure they will beat them in this round..and win this world cup 2007

I think Sri Lanka has it in them to go all the way. They have the most balanced team in the competition. Vass is a recognized swing bowler and is a leading wicket taker. Malinga just got a double hatrick against South Africa. A feat never achieved before. There is no need to talk about Murali who is simply brilliant. In terms of batting Sri Lankan batting line up look solid. Sanath Jayasuriya is a pioneer in the one day game and currently holds the record for most sixes hit in the ODI version of the game. Sangakkara is consistent and a classy player. Mahela just came back to form today after scoring 82 against West Indies. The middle order also looks solid Silva, Dilshan, Arnold, Maharoof, Vass. Sri Lanka certainly has the potential to win the cricket world cup 2007.

well yes aussies are again looking 2 lift the cup.... they r playing like champs but s.africa is also in the hunt alongwith newzealand.......

This time there are only two contenders, Australia and South Africa.the south africans will have learnt a lot from their previous match against aus, who are on a rampage at the moment.New zealand is the dark horse but i dont think that they have the depth in their squad to challenge aus or sa.

There is only one team in the world to challenge the Australians in a world cup 'final'. Not SA, nor NZ Its only the 1996 champions; Sri Lanka. If any body come to the finals other than Sri Lanka; then Aussies will be the define champions - no doubt what so ever. If Sanath get going... and Murali turns... and Malinga Bounce with stunning yoke... and Vass Swings..., cup will be remain in Asia. If not it will travel to Australia.
