mylot friends - 'notify' / myLot

What is this 'notify' feature that you can turn on or off?? I thought that it would send an email once somebody you have thos feature turned on for has started a discussion - but it's not doing that!?

thats what it's supposed to do. I have all of mine set to off, I get enough emails telling me when someone has replied to my own discussions, I don't need to know every discussion everyone on my friends list has started. If it's interesting then I will find it and post. Plus some of my 'friends' start heaps of useless or random discussions a day that just don't interest me, I should probably remeove them from my friends list

I have got notify on for everybody but it's not sending me mail for two three friends queenie is one of them when ever she starts a topic it's not there in my mail box. But generally it's sending mails for rest of freinds other than two or three people.
