When I was a kid and computer is not as famous nowadays, my brother, me and my cousins usually spend our rest time (we call it rest time because this time happens after we play a very physical game), playing board games. We played Scrabble, Snake and Ladders, Clue, and other board games that I can't remember. Ooops! I just remember Monopoly. But our favorite is the Chess and the Games of the Generals. Yup! Our family is more on the strategic board game compared to the word games.
I am not aware of Parchisi, and Sorry and Life.

My favourite board game used to be scrabble but I used to get annoyed with people who took so long to make their words. Now I play against the computer but so far I have only reached level G. I like paying snakes and ladders with my grandchildren but sometimes the game can go on forever.

I also love trivia pursuit. I really like trivia in any form! I'm a junkie for it.
I also like scrable, but I'm not as good at it.
There is also anew game that my friends and I really love. I'm not sure if it qualifies as a board game, since it involves cards more than a game board (But not traditional cards, these are cards that come with the game). It's called "Apples to Apples". It's a super fun word game. Players have to match thier word card to best describe the judges "descriptor card". That's ntoa very good description of the game, but it's really fun and great for parties!

My favorites are Cranium, Catch Phrase (although it's not really a board game), Scattergories and UpWords.

Trivial Pursuit is at the very top of the list, but I like just about any type of board games. Some more of my favorites are Balderdash,True Colors, Loaded Questions, and Cranium.

Scrabble is good. We like Monopoly and Winopoly too.
We have Kings in the Corner, Battleship, The Lego game, in fact we try many different types of board games when we can.
We also have some hand held games, those are not played as much.

Our family favorite has been Scrabble. What the world needs is a new exciting board game!
