What is it with Mom's cooking....

...that nothing would ever tastes the same. Especially the ordinary everyday food like scrambled eggs.
"...all you have to do is beat the eggs with salt and pepper, let the butter melts in the pen and pour it in..." my mom said, smilling encouragingly one morning, the day I moved out of my home, all grown up. Of course it's easy for her.
I tried making scrambled eggs, I tried scrambled eggs from numerous diners and restaurant, nothing ever taste like mom's. I switched to cereal instead. Now, I have scrambled eggs once in a while only, when I go visit my mom and stay over for the night.
The next morning, I know I would wake up to the smell of mom's scrambled eggs and french toast. I will come down and see mom in her apron, all smiles, spatula in hand. I will sit on my stool at the counter. Coffee brewing somewhere. It used to be hot chocolate then. It's coffee now. Me and my mom. In her kitchen. That's the closest I ever get to heaven

that is the magic everyday life when u have a loving MOTHER to take care of you and u are so lucky to have such a beautiful and caring person in ur life.
well this is just one thing ur talking about ..there are a thousands or even lacs of things that u can't state which makes her who she is ...always .
i feel the same every morning when i wake up and i am lucky enough to have the toast & scrambled eggs that she makes .
