the 9-11 attacks affected people all around the country watching or reading about such flagrant hatred and total disregard for human lives..unfortunately i was in the world trade center buildings on this fateful day due to the fact that thats where i worked for years and after the bombing of the towers in febuary of 1993 who would have guessed the attack would be as it was? by air! with our planes...and with our loved ones aboard..
my question: has everyone forgotten about those who died and the walking wounded of this devestating day?

No. None of us has forgotten. Read Flowers for Amy. We live that day every day and we long for our loved ones with every ounce of our being. But it is hard to find someone to talk to about how you feel. People either tiptoe around the issue or condemn you for dwelling on the subject. What people need to know is that while We will never forget. we also Choose to remember. and treasure the people we loved who live in our memories and our hearts as vividly as they did on that day. And we choose to remember the wonderful people who tried to save our loved ones and who sifted through the rubble for months and are suffering now because they gave so selflessly. We must advocate for the people who lived and are sick and dying because of it. That is how we can say thank you today.

that day will go down in history as the most devestateing act of violence against the free world. we must always remember that there are families of those lost on that fateful day, who remain sorrowful of those no longer with us. we must remain strong each day as our comrades in arms, diligently respond to the needs of the free world, protecting those of us who cannot fight, giving their lives, so our children will remain free

Some ppl have unfortunately...I haven't. I still think about it off and on, I still thank God that our troops are fighting to help keep us protected and I'm glad that it's given us a heightened sense of the need for security in our own country.
!!HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!
