Ya Kobe is the only one to come close to being the same as Jordan, but there is going to be more contenders after the years go on.

kobe bryant is the player who ever came close to michael jordan, but his leadership abilities is still a big question. he has yet to prove himself in that area, and now is the best chance since he owns the lakers. no more big daddy shaq to lean on.

I agree with you. Kobe is a great scorer, but he cannot lead his team to win the championship! Right? But I like Kobe Bryant, and he is my favorite NBA players right now! =)

I believe there will be several execellent ball players that will soon past MJ up. We have very talented individuals in the NBA
