How to go from 10 to 9 stars in a couple of days

If you check my posts you can see that I posted carefully, might have posted some opinions people didn't like, but tried to make them as thorough as necessary. Unlike my usual casual posts I got hooked on the topic of religion. My beliefs differ greatly from a lot of people's. Now I'm reading back and I haven't flamed or written anything even generally offensive, but my rating went down. I could kinda predict this happening. I'm not too hung up on star ratings but I wonder... Do people realize that a minus rating is not for posts where they disagree with the opinion of the person. It's for badly written discussions and flaming, copying other's discussions, that sort of thing, not "Look an agnostic chick! I am of ____ religion! how dare she not worship ___?" We are all here to discuss our opinions. If I ever once say "your god is stupid and isn't real" please give me some - but just stating one's feelings on something is not a reason to rate them negatively. Even myLot tells us that. I notice this happening to a lot of other people too... People who write beautifully written discussions on topics that people will have different opinions on... worked down to a 6 or 7 because people can't maturely discuss a point they don't agree with. I don't care all that much about my rating as I said before, but please consider whether you're being constructive in giving ratings. And remember opinions are like noses... everybody has one. Well I guess a few people don't. If you don't have a nose go ahead and take it out on me I can handle it...

Good rant, you go girl!
Even if you weren't one of my friends, I would rate you highly, you always have constructive ideas to add to the conversations.

That is ok. I had a med emergency in the family and had to leave for a about 2 weeks. When I left my star was a 10 and when I came back it was a 9. so who knows what is going on

Karmalina some people want the world to think like them.I think if that ever happened I would be bored silly...Debate is so good...many times I've changed my mind because I found something better to believe in.
I think that some are here for an agenda of their own..Some for money,some to push something,some to get people to sign on their deals,some for discussions which are the minority.Discussions are full of pros and cons and that is what keeps them active.
Every one of your discussion and your responses have gotten a + from me.Even when I read something that I can't reply to I will at least give a rating.
