long lost best friend...

it's been a while i last checked up this site and haven't thought yet to write but now i do. lately, something that came in my mind and remembered my old dear, best friend Sarah. She was my old classmate in Fairmeadow Elementary School (gr.3 and 4), Palo Alto, California. but in the middle year of grade 4, she was failing back in class and decided to move to another school to go back in grade 3. i did not remember what school she went after Fairmeadow. since she left in the middle year of grade 4, i was left alone in class but was able to keep in touch and see each other til 1996. Sarah was my best friend and was my companion. last june 1996, i went back to manila, philippines (my hometown) for vacation but wasn't able to go back to California to continue studying because of my Visa was expired that year. it was disappointed that i wasn't able to see my old friends. many years has passed.. just since 2 years ago, i was cleaning out the stuff in my room and found the picture of Sarah when she was in grade 3 and her address in old address book. i asked a good friend of mine to try to call the landline of Sarah but she wasn't living there anymore. according to a new owner on the phone that she and family have moved years before. they dont know where they went. i was really sad to hear that she wasn't there anymore. so, i thought and tried to check out in Friendster and MySpace to find her if she exists there, also her sister Rachel... gosh, there's thousands of girls with same name!!! it's very hard to know which one they are and of course, it's been several years! they already grown up and looking different. who knows neither of them is married or something... it's possibly her last name may have change if she's married. sometimes i thought of her and treasure the times she and i had spent so much fun together. sleep-over at our houses, playing together, sharing secrets, etc... i also am wondering what she's been up to now and how's life with her and family.. i miss her alot... i understand in life when people grow up meet different people, may forget their old classmates or friends from long ago. but surely do keep the special moment that never forget. right? have you ever experience having a long lost friend whom you cannot reach to find? pls share your experiences with me, if you dont mind:) *i hope i dont bore you. he he he.. just writing out from my thoughts.. :)
