Do the British need to apologise to resolved the Iran Crisis?

As the tensions over the captured of the 15 British sailors by Iran are getting bigger and hotter... Do you think the best move that the British government is to make a public apology to Iran government. Or make this tensions as the gateway for new war in the gulf.

Apologize for what exactly? This was just an attention seeking stunt on Iran's part. The west and the british were not paying any attention to them because they are irrelvant...now they have to be payed attention to.
