Best place to visit in japan

Hello everybody
I'm gonna go in Japan this summer,but i haven't decided what cities are worth visiting. It is almost sure thet i'm gonna go in Tokyo for 2-3 days,but since i'll stay there for 14 days,i have to decide some other places to visit and i don't know much about japanese culture,could anyone give me any tips please? thanks ;)

My kids love the disneyland and disneySea but i like disney sea the most, the architecture is amazing.
Try the Ghibli museum even if you're not a cartoon fan.. interesting and fun

i have never been to japan but will probably do so this summer... i'll be joining a package tour and here's our itinerary: osaka to visit universal studios, then would probably have sightseeing or city tour in kyoto then mt fuji and hot springs, sanrio land and tokyo disney sea...
