Women in the White House

I have recently viewed a press release where Hillary Clinton anounces her intention to run for President of the United States in the upcoming presidential election.
I feel that this may very well be a positive move for this country. Our leadership has been pretty much stuffy old white guys who are so removed from the issues that they make it up as they go along.
I think a woman in the White House will give the leadership of this country a new perspective. I think maybe things will change for once. Maybe things will get better.
What are your views on this?? Do you think that this country is ready for a female leader? Do you think the rest of the world is ready? Do you feel that this will be a positive or negative change for the US?

I think we are overdue for a female president. Whether or not Hillary Clinton will be that person remains to be seen, but she has opened the door for other female politicians to follow in her footsteps in the future and run for president.

I completely agree. I think it will give a new perspective, as a woman will know what it is like to have to work your way up and not be handed anything. I think it will provide for an interesting leadership and things will hopefully be a bit different in the way this country is run. I think the time has come.
