Have u ever been stood up by somebody?

Yep. :) It's my own fault though, I should have gone with my gut on this one. He was the ex best friend of my ex boyfriend. We'd always stayed in touch online after my boyfriend and I broke up, and one day he asked me if we could get together for a date sometime since he'd like for me to give him a chance. I gave him my number and told him to give me a call that Friday and we'd set something up. Friday came, and Friday went, and no call. 2 days later he came online and asked me again, Can we get together sometime? I told him I was still a little mad at the fact that he didn't call on Friday and wasn't sure if I thought it was a great idea, but he said it had just slipped his mind (C'mon buddy, I slipped your mind??). I told him we could go out on Tuesday for dinner, he could pick me up at 6:00 and not to be late. Tuesday came, I got ready after work and 6 rolled around. He wasn't there. 7 rolled around. I told my roommates we needed to get out. So we went out for drinks and dinner, had a great time and I got home to find an email from him: "I showed up at your house at 7:30 like you asked but no one answered. Where were you?" I said 6, buddy.. not 7:30. I never replied to his messages again.

Yeah, I flew across to the US to stay with someone once and got stood up at the airport. It wasn't totally his fault as he ended up in hospital really ill but none of his family thought about me at all so I never saw him Had a great holiday in LA though - just made it special for myself

I was stood up by my husband once when we were first dating, but the next day he explained that his father had a heart attack. I think under the circumstances I was right to just let it go.
