aparently nobody can decide the truth it could have something to go with a book or many other things en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_Fools'_Day#Origin

It's to do with the changeover from the Julian to the Gregorian Calendar. People who were still using the old calendar and were on the wrong date were "April fools".
