Agloco-- Is it just a scam? Is it worth the hype?

I've been hearing a lot about Agloco and the toolbar that never seems to be released. People are signing up left and right for this company, and I'm rather dubious about whether or not something like this will actually work. When we download this toolbar onto our computers, how do we know it won't contain malware? Is it going to report everything I do on my computer/online? Does it contain a keylogger? How will I get paid for using the toolbar? Is referring others the only way to make any money? I keep hearing people say "What do I have to lose?", but I'd rather not put my computer's security at risk.
Anyone who could give me definitive information will get best answer. I'd like to know what you know for sure, not just what the Agloco homepage says.

I have signed up with them but it is getting real discouring waiting on this toolbar that was suppose to be out awhile back, makes me wonder if there are some issues we don't know about..I am not getting any referrels or anything and not visiting the site often so not sure exactly what todo..guess I am like the rest of you sitting in limbo about this site. sounds like it would be good but i am still kinda learry about some toolbar scanning all my searching.

Exactly. I just don't trust it yet and until I see that it's actually working for people to the extent that they're saying it will, I'm not signing up. They keep saying the toolbar will be ready soon, but soon never comes.

I think I'm going to adopt a wait-and-see approach as well, and see if this is really as good as everyone's saying it is.

That's what I'm doing. I'm just going to wait it out until the toolbar comes out, and then I'll probably wait until people have actually recieved money from them, too.

i too worry about its honesty , who knows they are not likne other scamsters, where they take all the members earning after a long run , who knows they may use the members e-mails ID and may sell it to spammers. We have to wait and see there geniunity

I heard that they'll be launching their viewbar anytime this week but I'm not really that excited nor impressed. They've been building hype for quite some time now but I still really don't think that their program is going to work. I really don't trust the owners of that company because they failed at their first company and they can again fail with this one.

That's true. They failed once before. Then again, a lot of companies failed when the internet bubble burst. All things considered, I'm reserving judgement until people start actually being paid.

First off, I'm thrilled that I had this many responses! I've never had so many responses to any of my other questions. I'm very pleased. Second, I'm going to wait. I've joined a few programs lately that haven't turned out to be as great as I was hoping, or joined because they said they were for US/Canada, but had absolutely nothing catering to Canadians after I joined the site. So until I see this is actually working, and people start reporting about the earnings they've made, I'm going to hold off. I don't see the point in referring everybody and their mother for something that may not ever happen. That would just make me look bad, wouldn't it? And I like having credibility.

Well. I dont know whether agloco is scam or not. I have joined the site and has a few refs. but I am not looking forward to it a lot cuz of the delay in launching the toolbar. Lets see once the project is on.

I dont think if that agloco is a scam, until now no one knows but everyone is hoping that it will be release soon because a lot of members now are being crazy inviting others to join, if that site will be true, I will create a thousand referrals for sure, I will make some flyers telling everyone to join.

Hi! It seems everyone's hearing on this site is just that - hearsay. No one can ever tell for sure until they launch that all-important toolbar. Someone ought to make an anti-Agloco something to test if the site really does work. For those who are internet savvy and know the inner workings of websites, this will be right up your alley. I would also like to find out. Sorry I cant contribute as of this time. I'll keep in touch if I find out anything. Thanks for this post. Good day and happy posting!

I have sign-up with them about four months back. But still it is teasing members about releasing Tool Bar (Coming Soon?). But they encorage members to promote referral link and there is hundreds of members working on it.
But no one knows when they release their Tool Bar (Is they release?) ? How the payment structure? Is really pay? etc. etc.
So we still wait till they release their Tool Bar.
I am not going promoting Agloco, before they release Tool Bar.

yes you are right i also signed and waiting for toolbar but till no email for any release of toolbar, means it seems to be a scam or there company is flop complitely flop.

Yesterday (2 June 2007) we got the news that we were all waiting for. The Agloco viewbar will be ready for download from Monday onwards. It will not be released to everyone but will be according to the order of joining. The viewbar is still in its initial stages and it will be automatically upgraded while we use it. But it will take some time for us to start earning. They would have been spending a fortune developing it.

They say the toolbar will contain no malware of any kind.
Do you do have anti-virus and anti-spyware programs installed ?
As far as it being a scam, I don't see how it could be since there is no investment of any kind involved.
Who can know anything for sure until it launches?
You make money without referring anyone, however if you want to make more than $5 a month then you will need some referrals.
As far as whether or not it can work, it already has worked.
This group did this several years ago. At that time they called themselves AllAdvantage and a lot of people made a lot of money with it. It ended during the DotCom crash, but so did many other companies then.
Either use it or don't use it.
I plan on using it.
