How does one prepare for something like this now that we have two weeks of spring weather.do you all like the snow or are we ready for summer and warm weather.?

We haven't had any spring weather yet in my area , although it did look like we were going to start getting it last week for a couple of days and them bam we had a huge storm and got all the snow back again and now it is just as cold as it was all year . When the weather switches back and forth between warm and cold , this is the time of the year that more people end up with the ful and I believe the reason for this as one never knows how they should dress when they go out because what could be beautiful when you leave could be freezing when you come back .
I hate the snow and am so ready for summer and the warm weather as that is my favorite time of the year :)

There is a little bit of Southern California in every state. lol. Come July, you will be praying for snow as the temps reach into the 90's and 100's. According to Big Al, there is a phenomenon called global warming happening. So expect the unexpected and be sure your A/C is working. Personally, that state of the weather doesn't ruffle my feathers one bit...I say we are headed toward the next ice age.

If globabl warming happens , it will lead to a global ice age because there won't be any land to absorb the sun's light, it will be reflected back out into space by too much water surface, and we will get cold, fast. sort of like the nuclear winter they used to talk about in the 70,s.

It hit us a few days ago here in Alberta. And sadly, after 2 days of gorgeous weather that melted all the snow that fell last weekend, its snowing again, so be on the lookout for it in about 4 days. Of course, winter doesn't really end until the first of May in these northern climes anyway, does it?

I know what you mean. We are suppossed to have rain and then snow here too...I was very surprised when I heard this. I was really ready for spring and the nicer weather too...but I guess we will just have to get through another blast of winter...if it indeed comes.

It's actually warm where I am today. It's in the 80's and it's very nice and sunny outside. Later this week it is supposed to turn cooler again though. I just want it to stay warm because I love warmer weather.

Here in Missouri the sun is out, and it is nice and warm.
Other than some spring rain, we have been having great weather.
We already have people mowing the grass...:)

I'm so ready for Summer. We had gorgeous spring weather all weekend, and then tonight, we had snow.
They said it was just going to be flurries, so I thought oh good, it won't settle or anything. I looked out the window and it was snowing so hard I couldn't see across the street.
It's stopped now though and we only have a very thin layer, so with a bit of luck, it will be melted by tomorrow morning. I hope so anyway, I sooo don't want to listen to the kids whining about not having any snow to play in.

Yeah April Fools to us on the westcoast of Canada. I spent yesterday planting a herb garden, so proud was I. This morning I wake up to frost on the ground! To think some people think Global warming is a joke. The weather is so wacky around here who knows if spring will ever arrive! At least it is sunny today...maybe my herbs will live!

LOL, The weather in Texas is prone to changing often too. I don't care for the snow or ice much, but have lived in several places that got lots of snow. Luckily, it was way back when I was younger and enjoyed making snow angels & having snowball fights. Now I stick to the warmer climates, but wouldn't you know it snowed here right after Christmas! I attached a pic for you. Not much snow, but pretty cool for central Texas, lol.:)
As for me, I'm off to the beach in a few days to enjoy myself fishing, swimming and sunbathing.:D

I saw that there was a chance for snow on Wednesday, but no winter advisories here in WI yet. Guess I'll have to keep an eye on it to see if it's heading out way next. I can't believe I had the air conditioning on one day last week when it hit 80 and now we might see more snow. I am definately ready for warm weather. I hate snow and cold. Just remember that in a few months we'll be complaining about the heat.
