Answer to fishy question

I posted a 'fishy joke' discussion a while back but it was removed by myLot for whatever reason - maybe they thought I was soliciting for responses. Anyway, for all those who are still interested to know the answer to that joke, here goes:
Question : 10 fishes were swimming in a tank and one jumped out. Did the water level increase or decrease?
Answer : The water level increased because the rest of the 9 fishes cried!

Hi gabs hun, I enjoyed all the responses whether they were 'right' or 'wrong'. Jokes are meant to be laughed at for their being illogical and ridiculous. Many hugs..

Never occurred to me to find out what kind of fish they were but I guess even if they were fresh water fish they had to adapt to salt water after all that crying! You take care too.

Hi Kathy, I've no idea why they deleted it too because I did send them a message to ask for the reason but they didn't give me a very definite answer. Hmmmm...
