thundering clouds

the thing i am afraid of is the thundrring of the clouds.it terrifies me. tears start rolling down my cheeks. i dont know the reason.when ever there is thundering in the clouds, i listen to music, but it hardly makes any difference bcos i cant bring by thoughts away from the thunder. today i saw this picture n was thinking dat maybe its the tabla in the sky which makes that sound.next time i ll try to be afraid of it but try to hear n enjoy the dance n music of the nature.

I don't like when it is thundering out either . I wouldn't say I am as bad off as you though but I am very nervous and more so if my husband is not home . It always makes me think of fires as ususally when it is thundering it is also lightning and I was in a burning building when I was a child and we wathced it collapse after we got out and figure this is where my fear comes from .
I usually can't sleep that night and have everything unplugged so that there won't be a surge somewhere causing the house to catch fire so I am unable to even listen to music to calm me down .
